Hi I’m Jody, a Toronto based art director, designer, colour and type enthusiast. I also like to write.

I have over 12 years of experience as a creative leader, graphic designer, and writer. I’ve worked in house, in agency, and for myself, on everything from event invitations to videos to magazines to websites to omnichannel campaigns. I love the creative process and am always excited to ideate on a good brief. This experience has given me the tools to develop a brand identity, video, and everything in between from initial ideation to final implementation. I’m thoughtful, curious, and excited about new ideas. I love working with other creative people. I buy based on the packaging. I love unexpected colour combinations and type that makes you feel something. I believe good design and a good sense of humour is good for business and approach every creative task with this mindset.

About 3 years ago I started a stationery brand called Everyday Yiddish to fill a void in the market for real, relatable, and funny Jewish greeting cards, and I am learning more about business than I ever wanted to know.
